Even now people who watch movies and web series feel that IMDb's rating, the website that collects the data base, matters. The reality is that if you have only thousands of people in contact who have an account to buy household items on Amazon Prime, you can play the band of ratings of the best movies on this website. As recently, Deepika Padukone has also openly told about her film Chhapak. Deepika was mentioned here because director Vishal Bhardwaj, who disappeared from the headlines, once talked about making a film with Sapna named Sapna Didi. Sapna Didi who dreamed of going to Dubai to kill Dawood.

Ek Thi Begum is the story of the same dream. Getting a good story and making a good webseries or film on it are two different things. The first thing is that Ek Thi Begum is not made in Hindi, it has been dubbed in Hindi. The series was originally made in Marathi and was released in a lockdown dub in Hindi to fool the public, but everyone knows that it is public. It's not that the series isn't worth watching at all. If we tried to tell the whole story in a short episode, it could have been the best story of the year. This story has only six or at most seven episodes. 14 episodes is too much for viewers.

The story is simple. Dawood Maqsood, a disciple of Dawood, wants to expand the heroin business in Mumbai. A grandfather named Zaheer is against it. He is melted down by Nana, the local disciple of Maqsood. First Nana's brother is killed and then Zaheer. Zaheer's wife Ashraf decides to avenge this. To justify this, they were shown fighting a legal battle and then becoming law themselves. The story starts from here, later the story revolves around flashbacks and then returns there.

The MX player could have created a superhit web series on such a powerful story. But, it is said that there are so many knowledgeable people in MX player that they themselves go and start teaching the director at the location. The director who makes his series keeps on mixing yes like a poor cow and the audience suffers. OTT Since the series is free to show for free, you have to face YouTube's break anytime, anywhere. The biggest weakness of the series is its direction. And the director's weakness is that he has no knowledge of episode division, doesn't know how to carry the story forward and doesn't have enough value to explain the cast.

So as soon as the artist turns on the camera, he is seen taking an angle according to his camera. Ajay Gehi, who became Maqsood, is proud to resemble Dawood that he considers himself Emraan Hashmi of Once Upon a Time Mumbai. Nana Bane Rajendra is a victim of overacting and police inspector Tawde Abhijeet Chavan has received a bit more melodrama. In the entire series, only two actors gather, one is Ankit Mohan in the role of Zaheer and the other is Anuja Sathe in the role of Begum. If that were the case, Anuja Sathe would have got a chance to meet with Hindi cinema actors. They put all their strength on their side, but the accompanying Haye weakened. The web series Ek Thi Begum received two stars in Amar Ujala Review.
